10-8-06 Philomath is where I'll go.........(or Woodstock's)

Well, I ran 19:32 at Philomath. I did not do bad, but I know that I could do a lot better if I was feeling my best. I do not know if it is because of lack of sleep or low ferratin, but something is causing me to die at about the two mile mark. This does not come from being more tired than I usually would be during a race either. I actually started out relatively reserved this race. I didn't get my mile splits because my watch stopped. I know that I did not start out that fast, though. It felt relatively easy, also. I can recognize times I've felt this. It happened on an practice early in the season when we ran to dairy queen, another early practice when we ran to the post, the Northwest Classic, Woahink, and Philomath. It's really frusterating. I put in the same effort when my legs start failing, but they just stop working in a sense. No matter how hard I try to push my legs, I barely can get any power out of them. I actually start feeling less tired when this happens, but there is nothing I can do to reverse the feeling. That's why I was bobbing my head on the track, for I was doing all I could to move my body forward. My mom got me some iron tablets to take since it doesn't hurt to take them. I have not been feeling like this at practice at all. It's really annoying. Could my ferratin be low because I have been training for so long? Does it go down the more you train? I hope I can figure it out before district. I definitely need to work on getting more sleep. Woodstock's pizza was pretty good, I'd have to say. Especially the crust. I'd have to say American dream pizza is better for 3 reasons, though, because the pizza seems to be about the same at both places. American Dream pizza has really good cookies, it has the crayons, and it has a cooler name. Woodstock's also puts about 10 pounds on its pizzas. That was ridiculous. Well, that's about all that I'll say about non-running related stuff. It was a frusterating run overall. Hopefully I have time to figure this problem out.
