10-11 running in ovals
We did a 1600, 2x800, the 5 minute tempo run, and 4x200 cut-downs. I ran the 1600 in 5:48, and that was pretty frusterating because we were supposed to run 5:38. I've been feeling like I've lost my focus a little bit. Running the 1600 slow made me motivated to run the 800's faster. I ran 2:40 and 2:41 for those two. We were supposed to run 2:44 for them, but running a little faster doesn't hurt. I felt a lot better after that. After that we did the little tempo run, and that wasn't bad. I hope I did it right. Finally, to add the whipcream to this milkshake of a workout, we ran 4x200 cut downs. I ran 34-32-30-28, exactly as I was supposed to. Those felt pretty good. Running a 28 wasn't too surprising to me because I feel like I should be able to run that fast. Overall, it was a good workout except for the 1600 being a little slow.
